Dramatic video shows Brewster firefighters performing a high-angle rescue of a man trapped in a mine in Brewster, NY.
Fire officials told CBS 2 NY that the man and four friends went to explore the sealed-off mine Sunday night and got trapped on a lower ledge.
The friends tried for several hours, but could not reach the trapped man.
Brewster firefighters were lowered into the mine to set up rescue operations.
The man was eventually pulled to safety.
He was not injured.
